SOS Méditerranée exhibition "Save, Protect, Bear Witness," Saint-Martin-d'Hères campus: Monday, June 21 to Friday, June 25 This exhibition, designed by SOS MEDITERRANEE, takes a human look at the tragedy unfolding in the central Mediterranean, through the eyes of photographers on board and the testimonies of survivors and rescue sailors collected on board. It invites visitors to recognize the vital need to establish an adequate search and rescue system in the Mediterranean Sea.
Conference-debate "The numbers and words of immigration" by Cristina Del Biaggo, geographer, lecturer-researcher at the Institute of Urban Planning and Alpine Geography atUniversité Grenoble Alpes at the Pacte laboratory: Tuesday, June 22 (online registration) Every day, the media and social networks bombard us with statistics on migration. Their findings are often alarming, with a growing number of exiles reportedly on their way to Europe and France. What is the reality?
Two workshops: Colibri/RUSF and GEM on Thursday, May 24 (online registration) "Returning to school in France" Discussion about perceptions related to welcoming refugees, questioning them and comparing them with reality and statistical data, followed by a discussion about the measures in place for welcoming refugees at UGA. "Refugees at GEM" Information session on the actions carried out at GEM in favor of refugees, including the Refugee Grant Program and the "Career Boosters," and discussion on future projects with the aim of converging with actors wishing to co-develop projects around the professional integration of exiled populations.
