Auditor status is a university enrollment option that offers several advantages.

University libraries are open to the public. Students and staff members can borrow books, CDs, DVDs, magazines, and more from the network. The

Passing exams earns you university credits.
In the European Union, institutions generally use the system known as the "European Credit Transfer System" (ECTS). 1 ECTS has the same value in all institutions that use this system.
The number of credits for a course corresponds to the estimated workload required to pass the exam and acquire the skills.
A full semester corresponds to 30 ECTS.

All Doctoral Schools make up the Doctoral College. Each doctoral student is "affiliated" with a doctoral school (ED) that brings together research in a specific disciplinary field.
Each ED selects a few candidates once a year to receive a doctoral grant (known as "ministerial allocations"), and welcomes doctoral students who have secured alternative funding or, in some cases, no funding at all.

It was decided to prefer the term "exile" over other designations. This term is not limited solely to the status of exiled individuals, but encompasses those with refugee status, asylum seeker receipts, stateless persons, beneficiaries of subsidiary protection, or holders of visas from countries in crisis.

These are courses taken as a direct continuation of one's schooling, where the basics of a profession are learned.

This applies to individuals who have interrupted their studies for more than 2 years, who are working or have worked for a few years, and who wish to resume or start a new training program.

The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) has defined a progression for learning languages.
Levels range from A1 (absolute beginner) to C2 (proficient): A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2.

To be eligible to study in a degree program in France, a minimum level of B2 is required.

University dining halls and cafeterias are managed by CROUS. Students have access to a variety of meals at very reasonable prices.
The most well-known option is the complete meal for €3.15 at the university dining hall.

These are classes with small groups of students (maximum of thirty). Attendance is mandatory to earn university credits.

It is a course on a specific topic. A UE (course unit) generally involves between 20 and 30 hours of instruction (online and/or in-person) and an equivalent amount of independent study.
Passing a UE awards one or more ECTS credits.
