Practice mathematics

Objective

The main objective of this course is to prepare non-high-school graduates for the entrance test to the Access Diploma in University Studies in Science (DAEU-B) so that they can subsequently enroll in a Bachelor's degree in science. This course also serves as a refresher for students who may experience difficulties in mathematics during their first year of a Bachelor's degree due to having interrupted their studies for several years.

Course outline

This course focuses on the mathematics curricula for the 10th and 11th grades (Seconde and Première).

Lasting 2 hours per week for each group, the classes are taught by a PhD student in mathematics. 
This PhD student-instructor receives pedagogical supervision from a teacher-researcher in the same academic discipline.
There is no entrance assessment for the training program. However, a certificate is provided at the end of the course indicating the number of hours completed and the syllabus followed.

Registration takes place from mid-August to early September for the first semester, and from mid-December to early January for the second semester.
