The main objective of these courses is to meet the English language training demand expressed by refugees. There is no specific level to achieve.
The content is adapted to meet this demand by taking into account, as much as possible, the varying levels of English proficiency. Some participants are complete beginners while others are much more advanced.
Course outline
The course lasts for a total of 12 weeks, with each proficiency group supervised by a pair of student tutors.
The latter are mentored and advised by an English teacher.

Student-instructors are generally in their third year of a Bachelor's degree in Applied Foreign Languages, specializing in "international cooperation and multilingual communication".
Their involvement is part of the "committed students" scheme. They benefit from the official recognition provided by UGA for this purpose.
