The main objective of these courses is to train participants in the use of computer tools: file backup, folder organization, saving files to a USB drive, search engine queries, using software such as Word or Excel, writing a resume, etc.
Course outline
Lasting 2 hours per week for each group, the classes are taught by two PhD students in computer science.
These tutor-PhD students are pedagogically supervised by a teacher-researcher.
There is no entrance assessment for the training program. However, a certificate is provided at the end of the course indicating the number of hours completed and the syllabus followed.

Student-instructors generally commit to the project for one semester. Doctoral students can receive credit for this experience as part of their curriculum.
