Espace d'accueil Colibri


Our reception, information and orientation office is open to all persons displaced (potential students, teachers and researchers).

Reception is assured by two student employees at the UGA.

Orientation and Educational Support Options

  • Whether you’re a student or not, you can request to enrol in disciplinary and methodological courses within the Co-FormER program;
  • Come see us to discuss all possible options that suit you - register for an academic program, ask about equivalent classes, enrol in a refresher course, etc. We will go over all matters relevant to your situation, or we will direct you towards any academic advisors and specialists in professional integration;
  • We can offer you workshops for professional integration and help with career planning, writing a CV or cover letter, etc.

Administrative Process

We can help you with the following:
  • Job applications or enrolment to a program: choose your status (student, unregistered student) and be familiar with important dates and required documentation
  • Obtaining an equivalent qualification or recognition for your previous diploma or personal and professional experience
  • Filling out the Dossier Social Étudiant (DSE) in CROUS to request for housing and/or bursaries
  • Booking appointments with a social worker specialized in social assistance requests, emergency cases, etc.
  • Exemption from the CVEC, if possible;
  • etc.

Technical Support and Supplies

Espace Colibri can give you supplies for writing or organizing your documents (pens, notebooks, binders, USB drives…)

You may use any printers, scanners and computers available using an Internet connection.
