Restrictions

Workshops are open only to students enrolled in a degree program in an institution within the Grenoble area.

Career Booster (GEM)

Organizer: Rikke SMEDEBOL, Career Service.

Objectives

  • Assist student refugees who are pursuing higher education programs in order to enable their integration into the professional sector;
  • Improve students’ employability by offering a series of workshops centering on the following themes: careers, communication, and integration, in order to prepare them in their search for job opportunities.

Sessions

The sessions are co-created and co-hosted by a student refugee and the Career Service (le service Carrière).
Among the organizers, there are also student volunteers who lead activities in smaller groups during sessions.

  • these workshops host 15 to 24 people;
  • they are held during 4 2-hour sessions in November, December, February and March;
  • participation is free upon registration.

Eligible participants

  • student refugees (only);
  • in initial education program;
  • pursuing a higher education program relating to management, commerce, and/or administration.
